Who is Conway Kennels?

Conway Kennels has been in the business of training hunting dogs for over thirty years. We are a totally family owned business. In addition to hunting dogs, Conway is the home of over 30 Field Champions and Canadian Field Champions. While we have proven ourselves in the competitive sport of field trailing, we have never forgot our roots: providing customers with the best-trained hunting dogs in the Northwest.

We have been at our Conway location since 1986. Brooke started out his dog training career training for Bert Carlson at Carlson’s Issaquah Kennels. We then purchased Sammamish Kennels and operated it until 1986. In 1986 we purchased 80 acres and proceeded to clear the land and develop our training grounds. Having the kennel and training grounds in one location allows for more time to train and is more convenient for our customers.

We are now the oldest and largest boarding and training facility north of Seattle. We have trained well over 6000 hunting dogs for the great people in the Northwest and Canada as well as dogs from all across the country and Alaska.

We have always strived to give your dog every opportunity to become a good hunting dog as well as a great companion dog at home.

Our Facilities

Conway Kennels is located on 80 acres of rolling pasture land with ponds and fields that were designed solely for the purpose of training dogs.

Our kennels are housed in a large building that can be opened up during daylight hours and closed at nighttime. The kennel runs are concrete and each individual run has a dogaloo dog house. During the colder times of the year we have overhead infrared heat to keep the kennels warm and comfortable.

With 80 acres, board dogs that are on exercise have plenty of room to run and work out either in the fields or swimming in the ponds, this also includes five fenced excercise yards.

Cats are housed in a separate room and are kept in individual cages. Very small dogs can also be kept in the same area.

There is someone here twenty-four hours a day seven days a week. We live on the premises and your pets are never without supervision.

Remember, we are open 8am to 8pm everyday for your convenience.

Transportation

We believe that while being trained it is important that dogs have large comfortable crates to ride in and enough room to spread out and rest after being worked. While being trained on or off the property, at Conway Kennels your pet will be transported in the best and most up-to-date dog hauling trucks.
